(2006)

It's the future and chicks can't get pregnant anymore, which leaves them with nothing to do but max out their husbands' credit cards and rack up the cell phone bill gossiping for hours on end. Of course this destroys the economy, so now the whole world is fucked. One day though a pregnant girl does turn up, and right away everyone is out to get her. I didn't quite catch what the problem was, but since she was black and most of the people trying to get her were white I think I can connect the dots. It never changes, does it? Anyway, the main guy and some (dirty) hippies try to rescue her, and everybody spends the rest of the movie running around shooting at each other. It's basically a ripoff of After the Fall of New York, except AtFoNY is full of awesome, crazy shit and this pretty much isn't. Plenty of people get shot though so I was gonna give it a pass until the very end where they show the name of the movie again right before the credits:

I fucking hate that- it's so pretentious. Did they really think we'd forget what we were watching or something? "Damn, what the hell was the name of this dumb flick again?"

"Oh yeah! Good thing they're so goddamned impressed with themselves. You'd think the problem in this movie was a real one that they really want us to think about, and not just some dumb sci-fi crap they made up."

Seriously, fuck you.
