(1982)

This drunk and his family move into a new house, but things there get freaky when the daughter starts seeing her dead sister hanging around. It turns out the whole family fucked up one time and got the sister killed, so her ghost is super pissed (I'm kind of pissed too; she looks like she would have grown up to be a pretty nice piece). The ghost starts a fire, gives the grandma a heart attack, pushes the brother off the roof, electrocutes the dad in the bathtub, and finally goes after the mom, who's the broad from that sit-com Valerie so she pretty much deserves whatever she gets. Remember when they killed her off on her own show? That was fucking hysterical. This isn't really gory or anything, but it's creepy as fuck and would definitely scare a chick enough to make her afraid to go home by herself and decide to just stay the night, and if you can't seal the deal at that point you've got nobody to blame but yourself. Based on that alone I'd have to say that this is a pretty awesome movie.
