Dorothy in the Land of Oz

(1980)

Dorothy goes back to Oz and has to stop this guy who wants to take over the Emerald City with a bunch of toy soldiers and a giant green turkey. Some of her friends this time around are a tiger, a talking mincemeat pie,* and a robot. Their basic plan is to have the tiger eat the bad guy, which as plans go really isn't too bad, but in the end Dorothy just talks the guy out of it, which is pretty fucking weak. Then the giant turkey saves everyone from an erupting volcano, they go back to the Emerald City, and the queen lets Dorothy's aunt & uncle move to Oz so they don't get shipped off to the old folks' home. It's a pretty stupid cartoon.

*If you were in Germany, you would have to address him as "Herr Pie". Ah ha ha ha ha ha ha! Get it?
