(1976)

These dudes go to this island to go hunting, but one of them gets wasted by giant wasps and when his buddy goes to get help he gets attacked by a giant chicken and has to stab it in the throat with a pitchfork.  A giant chicken doesn't sound like it would be very dangerous or anything, but I guarantee that if one came after you it would kick your fucking ass and you wouldn't think you were so cool then, would you? The giant wasps were okay, but when that chicken whupped on that guy I knew this movie was gonna fucking rock, and I was right.

The dead dude's friends go back to the island later and get revenge by blowing the wasp nest up, but it's not over yet for these clowns because now giant rats attack. Everybody spends the rest of the movie fighting the rats and a bunch of people get chewed up, until the main dude decides that blowing shit up worked pretty well before so maybe he should blow something else up and that will save the day. There's too many rats to explode them all though, so instead he blows up this dam. The dam is only like seven feet high, but I guess looks can be deceiving or whatever because after it explodes the whole fucking island floods and all the rats die. As if you couldn't tell, this is the best giant animal movie ever made and if you haven't seen it you should really pick up a copy right now because you're totally missing out. It rocks.
