If you ask me, any day you watch a Gildersleeve movie is a bad day. Gildersleeve (a fat imbecile who falls down a lot) gets stuck with jury duty (that'll teach him to vote), but a couple of crooks try to bribe him which leads to all sorts of jackassery, like a judge getting his tooth pulled out, some lardass breaking a bed, two dudes getting into a fistfight, and Gildersleeve getting shot at (too bad the cat who shoots at him misses). I'll bet the script looked like this: GILDERSLEEVE'S BAD DAY By Some Idiot 1. [Madcap Antics] THE END In fact, I could probably just change the title and pretend I found the script for a "lost" Gildersleeve movie! It would be the perfect scam, except of course nobody on Earth would actually pay money for a lost Gildersleeve movie. Looks like you win this round, Gildersleeve, you fat fuck.
