Grandma's Boy

(2006)

This movie is fucking awesome. It has all the usual stuff comedies use when they're kind of desperate (nerds, old people doing crazy shit, pot, a monkey) but somehow they make it all fucking hysterical and it totally rocks- it's ten times better than crap like Old School or Wedding Crashers. It starts when this guy who works for a video game company gets thrown out of his pad. First he crashes with his weird friend who still lives with his parents (he calls them his "roommates"), but he gets booted out of there when the friend's mom catches him jerking off to a Lara Croft doll so he has no choice but to move in with his grandma. After that a bunch of madcap antics ensue, all of them hilarious. In fact, there's so much funny shit that they forget to have a story, so at the very end they throw in this problem that gets solved in like five minutes just so they can pretend there's some sort of plot. In addition to all the jokes this movie has another great thing going for it- the main chick is the main chick from Freaks & Geeks (one of the finest pieces of ass who ever has or ever will exist), and in one part she gets high & drunk as fuck and does this sexy dance to Salt-N-Pepa's "Push It". This part should have been way longer (like at least 40 minutes or so), but it's still one of the hottest things I've ever seen in my entire fucking life. Plus it's the first time I've ever listened to "Push It" (one of the worst songs of all time) and not bled from the ears. Any movie that can make "Push It" seem good has to be one of the best movies ever made.
