This judge tells Gildersleeve (a fat, annoying jackass) that he has to find a wife in ten days or give up custody of his niece (nice legs on this one) and nephew (not so much). The kids are probably the only people on Earth who like Gildersleeve though, so they print up a whole bunch of flyers saying he's great and when that doesn't work Gildersleeve tries to thwart the judge by beating him in a race. When he loses the race it looks like they're screwed, but then due to a zany misunderstanding the judge ends up pissing off the governor so Gildersleeve gets to keep his kids after all. Sometimes I just don't understand our legal system.
