Man, going to camp as a kid was so awesome- no matter how hard they tried to maintain control it was always total anarchy with people fighting and fucking and somehow always finding a way to get their hands on beer. Especially if it was church camp. That's why when you make a movie about camp everybody in it should be smoking dope and screwing and vandalizing everything in sight, and that's just the little kids. The councilors should be completely out of control. Well, there is some crazy shit in this movie (a guy hit by lightning, a blackboard thrown into a bonfire, someone blowing up a frog, a hurricane) but none of it makes any sense. I think you could take this movie and rearrange the parts in any order at it wouldn't make much of a difference. And what's with all the pretentious crap? Nobody ever watches a summer camp movie and thinks to themselves "This is okay, but I sure wish it was more pretentious." That's why Franz Kafka never got hired to write a summer camp movie. On the plus side, all three of the councilor chicks are ball-achingly hot (even though only one of them shows off her tits), and there's almost a lesbian part which is kind of a tease but after watching an hour or so of this lame bullshit you'll take what you can get.

Tragically, this goes nowhere. Fuck this movie.
