(2005)
Everybody remembers Here Comes Peter Cottontail- it was that show about the Easter Bunny that had the song that went like this: "Here comes Peter Cottontail Or something like that. Anyway, they try to make this sound more important by calling it "The Movie", but it's really Part 2. Peter Cottontail is still running Easter and shit, but now he's got a son, Peter Cottontail Jr. Okay, I'm a little confused that he has just the one kid- don't rabbits usually have a whole bunch of babies? Maybe all his brothers and sisters got RHD. Anyway, Peter Cottontail Jr. is a royal fuckup, and since he's sporting a black eye through this whole flick you definitely get the feeling that dad is pretty sick of his bullshit. Peter Sr. gives him one last chance though and puts him in charge of the clock that makes winter turn into spring. Of course Jr. blows it again: part of the clock gets stolen by the evil rabbit from Part 1* and Jack Frost, who had a sex change operation and is Jackie Frost now. Seriously, this is some disturbing shit for a kid's show. Anyway, dad's ass-beatings must be pretty intense, because Jr. decides he'd rather risk his life trying to get the part back than chance another one, so he goes after the bad guys, and along the way he gets help from a bird, a mouse, a guy with a giant bubble machine, and a flying octopus. It's a pretty dumb cartoon, but it does have a pop punk cover of the "Here Comes Peter Cottontail" song at the end, which I think was the last song that hadn't already been like "ironically" covered by a pop punk band. Okay, pop punk bands, we get it. Now go fuck yourselves. *I forget his actual name, but they should've called him "Peter Rottentail". Somebody really needs to name their band that.
