For like 50 years everyone was waiting for it to be 2000 so we would finally have jetpacks, flying cars, and sexbots, and it was pretty much a given that New Year's Eve 1999 would be the greatest party of all time: everybody would be naked and drunk and there would be looting and rioting in the streets. It was gonna be epic. The Man didn't want that to happen though, so they came up with this ridiculous, imaginary problem called "Y2K" to scare everybody so they wouldn't wreck half the country, and it motherfucking worked. Assholes. This video came out around that time, and it's pretty funny. Here's some of the stuff it says might not work after 2000: microwaves, VCRs, cameras, phones, watches, cars, e-mail, cash registers, credit cards, copy machines, alarms, elevators, and possibly the wheel, gravity, and the power of love. Also companies would be going out of business left & right, and everybody would get sued. The government even printed up a bunch of pamphlets about it- the best is the one they made especially for Indians! Is your tribe Y2K compliant? Ah ha ha ha ha ha ha! Of course absolutely nothing happened, and the people like me who actually went out that night, got smashed, and ended up getting a killer blowjob from a super-hot chick laughed and laughed. Y2K- what a fucking hoax.
