Island of the Damned

(1976)

I really don't understand why there's so many movies about evil little kids. I guess kids are scary sometimes - like when you find out your girlfriend is gonna have one, or when somebody else has one and wants to show you a bunch of pictures of it - but why would you be afraid of being attacked by them? I'm bigger than every little kid I know, and if one of them attacked me I'd just punch his fucking lights out. Problem solved. If they really want a movie like this to be scary they ought to come up with one where a bunch of midgets are on their way to a convention or something but their bus breaks down and while they're stranded they get attacked by the evil kids. That way they'd be evenly matched and shit. Plus of course it would be fucking hilarious. Anyway, props to the main guy in this flick because he knows exactly what I'm talking about: instead of being a huge pussy and crying because "They're just children!" he just starts mowing the little bastards down with a machine gun! Awesome. There's a few other cool parts - like when the kids use a dead guy for a piņata, or when a pregnant chick's baby kills her from the inside - but there's not enough gore and no naked hotties so I'll have to call this one a near-miss.
