(2001)
Josie and the Pussycats was a comic book about these three chicks who dressed in hot-ass little cat suits and were in a rock band. It got cancelled sometime in the 1980s, but I guess somebody in Hollywood remembered jerking off to it because one day they decided they needed to make a movie version, even though it was like twenty-five years too late. I couldn't find a comic that shows them in their outfits, but here's one where a couple of them are about to get into a brawl, and one where they're being attacked by a mummy:
The chick with the Dave Vanian hair, by the way, is their sworn enemy Alexandra, because when you do anything in a comic book there always has to be someone out to stop you at any cost. If they made a comic book about some guy who dedicated his life to saving puppies from burning buildings and curing homeless children of cancer, I guarantee that there would be at least one cat trying to foil him at every turn. Alexandra was the hottest chick in the comic (because she was evil), but for some reason the movie version looks like what would happen if you let all the air out of that Rebecca broad from Cheers and then kicked her in the face for a while. Nice choice, dipshits. Anyway, you would think a movie like this would pretty much automatically suck shit, but it was actually okay: there's a boy band that does a song about anal sex; the dumbest blonde ever ("If I could go back in time, I'd wanna meet Snoopy."); Carson Daly trying to kill a chick with a baseball bat; a homeless clown; and it's hard to fuckin' believe, but Josie and the Pussycats actually kinda rock (in a New Monkees sort of way). The only bad thing is that there aren't any parts where all three of them suddenly tear off their clothes and have a huge, three-way dyke fest. I'm pretty sure that never happened in the comic book either though, so it's one of those bad calls that you pretty much have to blame on the source material.
