These old cowboy movies are all exactly the same and they must've made like 9000 of them, and that's just in 1936. In this one, some crook doesn't want Wyoming to be a state (who does?) and makes all this trouble, so they have to call in John Wayne to settle his hash and all the usual lame-ass shit goes down: rescuing runaway wagons, shooting the guns out of people's hands, hilariously fake fistfights... Frankly I don't know how anybody can tell the difference between one old cowboy movie and another. I wouldn't be surprised if back in the day most theaters just showed the exact same one every week and nobody even noticed. At least there's some funny parts, like when John Wayne tells this chick: "I never saw a woman yet that could do a man's work." Sexism is always hilarious. The best part though is during the big shootout at the end- this random old coot just shows up out of nowhere and blows up like 90% of the bad guys with some dynamite! Ha! That's great. Who needs John Wayne when you've got dynamite?
