One Hell of a Christmas

(2002)

This crook swipes some supernatural thingamabob, and when he leaves it at his buddy's house everything goes all Evil Dead 2 on the guy: a dead hooker attacks him with kung fu, a stuffed toy tries to claw his face off, and a cowboy on this poster comes to life and tries to shoot him. Then, just when you think it's all over, he gets sucked down his toilet into hell. Obviously this is a flick with a lot of good ideas, but they manage to screw it up quite a bit. For one thing, the main guy is Mexican so they should've called it "Feliz Navi-Dead". That would've been hilarious. It's bad enough they didn't think of that, but there's not enough gore, either, and worst of all they get a redheaded hooker into bondage gear and a Santa hat and somehow forget to show her naked. In the end the Devil turns up to get the thingamabob back because it turns out it's his coke nail (I'm not fucking kidding), which is just fucked-up enough (especially for a Christmas movie) to save this from completely sucking ass, but next time show the hooker naked, idiots.
