This married couple has some serious problems: all he wants to do is read the same smut novel (He Stooped to Kill) over and over, and I'm pretty sure she's mildly retarded, unless she talks like that because she thinks it's funny or something. They're both drunks, too: after their divorce is final the first thing he does is go back to the house and steal all the liquor, while she goes out with her mom for "thousands of martinis". Of course after a bunch of antics they end up getting back together, because if you can't solve your relationship problems by getting married then getting married twice should definitely do it. Stupid assholes. The only interesting things that happen along the way are the guy turning down one of the chicks Alfred Hitchcock used to tug his shit to (fag), and the broad almost getting date raped, but, you know, in a wacky way. A movie called "Phffft" could be about anything - a leaky tire, alley cats fighting, someone farting - and any of those things would be more interesting than this. It blows.
