This starts out okay: we've got ghosts, a suicide cult, sheeps jumping off a cliff, and they actually surprised me by killing off the little girl less than a third of the way in (spoiler warning). Later on another little girl takes her place, but naturally she's EVIL and needless to say things go downhill from there. Technically there's nothing wrong with this flick, it's just that there's so many of these watered-down megabudget early-2000s Hollywood spook movies that they all start to seem pretty generic after a while. The only interesting twist is when the main chick goes to "the other side" à la Poltergeist II, but all she finds there are evil sheep and poorly-disciplined children so astonishingly enough Poltergeist II might actually be less ridiculous. Oh well, I can't take any flick where someone yells "What's in the box?" seriously anyway.
