This is like a mix between a (good) nip ghost movie and The Evil Dead, with maybe a little Blair Witch thrown in but don't hold that against it. These three dudes are wandering around the woods looking for this creepy tree (okay, that sounds dumb but trust me- this tree really is pretty creepy) when the local ghost starts fucking everybody's shit up. The ghost is supposed to be this Indian maiden (casino, not 7-11), but she must've watched The Grudge before she started her haunting gig because it looks like she lifted her whole shtick from that flick (or one of the millions of Japanese movies exactly like it). Except for the last few minutes it isn't very gory and the two chicks who turn up later don't get naked, but it's pretty spooky with lots of parts that make you jump, so, you know, good date movie. When they find the weird tree at the end I was really hoping that that fucker would come to life, chase everybody around for a while, and maybe even rape the last chick so I could add to my list of movies where someone has sex with a tree, but no such luck. Instead the movie decides to become borderline incomprehensible, but frankly you should have made it to at least second base by then so it really doesn't matter.
