I am so fucking tired of these fake reality movies where someone just wanders around with a video camera Blair Witch style. Frankly I think it's just an excuse to avoid coughing up for a tripod, but whatever the case I'm over pretending that this shit is legitimate. From now on, I only want to see three types of movies made like this, and I expect them to be distributed to their recognized potential audiences only:

1) Actual home movies. Potential audience: the people being filmed; their grandmothers.

2) Hilarious videos of cats being seriously injured. Potential audience: YouTube.

3) Personal sex videos. Potential audience: the entire Internet. Take that, Brenda.

As for this flick, it has all the usual fake reality movie problems, like the main people recording stuff they wouldn't actually record, parts where the picture rewinds or skips that don't look anything like when real videos rewind or skip, and, naturally, the super-professional editing job somebody managed to do despite the fact that they were dead. Okay, to be fair not everybody dies so I suppose the survivors could have edited it, but it's still a stupid movie. And I don't mind that they gave the dog a credit, but I am a bit concerned that the dog's real name is "River O'Neal". You should never give a dog a last name. He'll think he has the right to vote.
