(1961)
Rocketships keep crashing into a mysterious asteroid that seems to appear out of nowhere. "It's against all theories of space!" says one dude. What? They put their best guy on it, whose two major assets are looking like a vaguely irritated Flash Gordon and regularly losing consciousness. Seriously, this guy swoons more often than a Victorian dowager touring an S&M club. Eventually he also crash-lands on the asteroid, where he passes out (again) and shrinks down to the size of the tiny people who live on the asteroid. The asteroid people jump him immediately, put him on trial, launch his ship back into space, and then tell him that he might as well lay claim to some of the local pussy because he's not going anywhere. He's not too happy about any of this, so naturally the little people follow up by completely filling him in on their super-secret gravity weapon/security system and telling him exactly how to fuck the whole megilla up. They're dumb. The main guy isn't a total pill though; he makes some friends, has a few laughs, and even helps save a chick from one of the Micronauts (I believe he's called "Membros"). Eventually the main guy's buddies come looking for him, so some of his little pals help him grow back to regular size and ultimately he's rescued. He's unconscious when the other astronauts find him though (of course), so did it really happen, or was it all just a dream? Amazing. By which I mean fuck off. Note: I caught this flick on Wolfman Mac's Chiller Drive-In, which is hosted by some fat tub in a werewolf mask whose brilliant shtick is to make farting noises during the movie. You should stick to morbid gluttony and avoiding exercise, fat werewolf dude. Humor obviously isn't your bag.
