Great tweaking Grape Ape on crack, could this movie be any more generic? The story's generic, the fights are generic, even the fucking music is generic. Where's all the hilarious, over-the-top ridiculousness I've come to expect from an Arnold Schwarzenegger movie? There's less badass in this whole flick than in ten minutes of Commando; it's just the same lame-ass fights and chases you'd find in any made-for-Beta action flick from the 1980s. I'm not even making a joke when I say that I've seen more intense episodes of Sheriff Lobo. Did the guys who wrote this really think that someone getting thrown through a window or a car driving under something and getting its roof sheared off would impress us? Wow, I've never seen that before. Duh. There aren't even any good bad one-liners. The main chick is fucking hideous too; if I'm gonna forgive a dame for betraying me to the mob she needs to be way better looking than this run-down hag. "Raw Deal" is definitely a good name for this movie; too bad the people getting the raw deal are us.

Bonus Bitching: I caught this on FLIX, and the picture froze up and/or pixilated at least a hundred times (no exaggeration, I counted) while I was watching it. Seriously, I got better reception in the 1970s, and I was using a birth control device as an antenna because the original broke off. Digital TV- what a hoax.
